Wide Receiver
The job of the wide receiver is to run different routes and catch passes thrown by the quarterback. They are usually some of the best athletes on the field, possessing an incredibly combination of size and athleticism. In some cases receivers have also developed reputations of primadonnas, primarily because their performance is largely dictated by how many times a quarterback attempts to pass them the ball, leaving some team members feeling like they did not get the ball to them.
